BAND HISTORY

Back in 2018 WYNOD was founded by guitarist, keyboardist, songwriter and Ableton-enthusiast Jorgoz! who currently lives close to Munich and is running a small music studio and the Music Label TempPrimo mainly for his own purposes.

When he was a kid Jorgoz! was guitarist of the German Hard Rock band Gravestone from Illertal and was recording with the band their 3rd album „Creating a Monster“ when Gravestone spontaneously was renamed 48 Crash only to release another album with the name „Some like it hot“.

Back then Jorgoz! was already trying to blend different styles of music with Metal and Hardrock which finally led to WYNOD’s style of music.

Snake is a musician who plays bass in several rock and metal bands, was founding member of famous Metal Band Feuerkraft as well as Funkenspiel, manages live events in and around Munich and here and there is mixing FoH for different live events.

When WYNOD was started by Snake and Jorgoz!, several attempts failed to find the right vocalist for the band. Line up changed, musicians joined and left, stable nucleus of the band were Jorgoz!, Snake and Ableton Live 😉

Writing songs, tracking guitar riffs and base lines, programming keyboards and drums as well as adding samples finally led to the point where a singer was required. Several months passed, Jorgoz! took over shouting parts, but then they ran into Jorgoz! teenage buddy Rob “The Irishman” who is living in Ireland. And was willing to volunteer to track some vocals.

The Irishman - as a kid - was playing guitar in several bands, as THE talented singer and musician he is Germany and US audiences know him very well, he continued his career as frontman in several bands, moved to the US for 2-3 years to pursue a professional career, then came back to Europe and finally moved to Ireland where he is running his own Media Production company producing mainly Blues Rock albums.

Now that songs were tracked completely, the next step was to mix and master the songs for the album so since autumn 2022 the band had half of the songs mixed/mastered at GlassHouse Media / Ireland and half at DownStudios (Fuerteventura).

Owner of Downstudio's is also a long term friend of Jorgoz! and a professional sound engineer with a beautiful and super professional studio. By the way, a studio with a view …

To make a long story short:
July 11th, 2023 the whole band, Mark I line up is Snake (bass), Rob “The irishman” (voc) and Jorgoz! (guit, keyb) finally met in Munich for 2 days at the Music Club Munich (MCM) to practice, to take pictures and to shoot/take some video material for commercial purposes.

Over the next months the band will continue to go public, after launching the song „Homo Lymphaticus“ on May 1st, 2023, album CrAnK was launched October 7th, 2023. You can find WYNOD on Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple Music, Apple iTunes, Tidal & Deezer. On Social Media WYNOD is available on TikTok, Insta as well as Facebook, BackstagePro and YouTube.

Currently the band started to play gigs across Germany.
